Choose your difficulty and challenge yourself with this classic puzzle game.
Sudoku is a logic-based, combinatorial number-placement puzzle. The objective is to fill a 9×9 grid with digits so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 subgrids that compose the grid contain all of the digits from 1 to 9. The puzzle setter provides a partially completed grid, which for a well-posed puzzle has a single solution.
Sudoku originated in Switzerland in the 18th century and was introduced to Japan via America. The game became internationally known in 2005 and since then has become a global phenomenon.
Start by selecting a difficulty level. The board will populate with a set of numbers. Your task is to fill in the rest of the board using the numbers 1-9. Remember, each number can only appear once in each row, once in each column, and once in each 3x3 box.
